Modern day technology can be helpful, but it also can be a bit of fun. In a time where many people are diving into statistics and teams to fill in their brackets for the upcoming tournament, we asked AI to help us. We started with the Euro 2024 group stage and asked AI how the groups will finish. From there on we asked the round of 16 matches and results, quarter final, semifinal and of course the final. In this article we walk with you through the prediction by AI for the entire tournament.
Group stages predictions
After looking into the squads and all their previous results, AI expects Germany, Spain, England, France, Belgium and Portugal all to win their group. These are the entire group stages results:

Now we know where all the countries will finish in their groups, it’s time to look at the round of 16. With 16 teams going through after the group stage, AI expects Georgia, Romania, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Albania, Turkey and Slovakia to drop out of the tournament. Quarter finals
With the tournament entering the most interesting part some strong nations are going to drop out. According to AI, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, England, Croatia, Belgium and Netherlands will form the teams in the quarter-finals. These are all top teams, so it’s evident that some big teams are going to drop out now, let’s look at the predicted quarter finals.

Euro 2024 final
The big final, the day we’re all waiting for. If AI’s prediciton power is serious, we already know who’s going to win. Unfortunately we’ve seen it with a test before, that AI can be wrong at times. This time the final is going to be France versus Germany. The home advantage helps Germany to win the tournament according to AI.
