Real Madrid defended really well to bring the 2-1 lead back to the dressing room at halftime.

Comeback after comeback

Just like the first half ended, the second half started with Man City in possession, but nothing notable happened. It was until the 66th minute when Phil Foden scored with a wonderful strike. A few minutes later Josko Gvardiol copied Phil Foden with another great strike to bring Man City ahead again. Fede Valverde saw this and decided to show his striking capabilities by scoring the 3-3 in the 79th minute. This was the final goal of the match, leaving everything open for the second leg in Manchester. Both teams showed they are worthy to play another Champions League final this year, but max 1 can still get there after next week.
