Even tho it was still 0-0 after 30 minutes Arsenal was the better of the two teams. In a quick 15 minute cameo, Arsenal got the score from 0-0 to 0-4 and completely killed off the match.

15 minutes of fun

It all started from a corner by Declan Rice. The former West Ham player, who was unlucky in the home match against his old club, placed the corner perfectly on the head of William Saliba. The French defender only needed a little touch to put the ball in the back of the net. This was the start of 15 minutes of fun for Arsenal. A penalty by Bukayo Saka and goals by Gabriel and Trossard gave Arsenal a 0-4 lead at half-time. Declan Rice was the main man with 2 assists. When the referee blew the half-time whistle, West Ham fans were heading home already.

Arsenal can’t be stopped

The second half was another goal fest by the Gunners. Bukayo Saka with his second of the match got the score to 0-5. A bad defensive mistake by West Ham, brought he ball in front of Declan Rice, who netted it from a big distance to score the 6th of the day. Out of respect for his former club he refused to celebrate this beautiful goal. Mikel Arteta had seen enough at that point and took off a few of his important players. Declan Rice was one of those who left the pitch. The West Ham fans who were left in the stadium were divided at this point. Some booed, but the majority clapped for one of their own.
