Arsenal opens the door for Manchester City

Arsenal has been in control of the Premier League for quite some time this season. The Gunners have won quite a few games in a very good fashion. At one point they were 8 points ahead of the competition. Their momentum seems to be turning a little bit at the moment.

Arsenal lost momentum

After a little break with cup football, they seemed to lost it a little bit. In the two games after the Premier League break, Arsenal got only 1 point. They lost their match against Everton last weekend and drew with Brentford today. That are five points dropped in a weeks time. With the match against Manchester City upcoming next Wednesday, things can turn quickly at the top of the Premier League. One thing is for sure, Arsenal opened the door for Manchester City.

After today’s result, Manchester City knows what to do. They’ve got the titlerace back in their own hands. First they face Aston Villa on Sunday, a victory in that match would bring them 3 points behind Arsenal. On Wednesday they travel to London to play against Arsenal. If they win against Aston Villa and Arsenal, they are back at the top of the table. Even though Arsenal has a spare game at the time. It would be a massive swing of momentum in favour of Manchester City. They would feel confident, while Arsenal will be hurt after giving away a big lead.     Bought 2 Club Wembley tickets less than 48 hours before the Championship Play Off Final. Good communication and tickets arrived the following day by email.
