Premier League top 4 looks set in stone

Most of the Premier League teams have played 20 matches. Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion, Liverpool and Leeds United are currently on 19. Exactly halfway for those teams, the rest is one match over the half of the league. For many people this means everything is still open. We believe the top 4 looks pretty much settled. We don’t mean the current order, but the four teams in the top 4 are looking pretty much secured of a top 4 spot at the end of this season.

Premier League top 4

Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle United and Manchester United are currently the four teams on a Champions League spot. Arsenal leads the table with a gap of 17 points to their North-London rivals in 5th place Tottenham Hotspur. The gap between number 4 Manchester United and number 5 Tottenham is 6 points. If Brighton wins their spare game, they will be in 5th place being 5 points behind Man United. Even though 5/6 points is still a gap that can easily be overcome, there is nothing to say it really will happen. The four teams in the top 4 are in extremely good form.

Top 4 form

Arsenal is the team to beat this season. They are in an extremely good form and it will be really hard for other teams to catch them. The double against Manchester City will play a vital role in the title decision. Man City fans will say they aren’t in the best form, so they can do even better. Newcastle United is a very solid team and extremely hard to break them down. Manchester United had a tough start of the season, but Erik ten Hag seems to have them going at the moment. Even after two lesser results, progress is very clear at the red side of Manchester.
