Carabao Cup quarter finals
With 7 Premier League teams and 1 Championship team, we’re about to see some very tasty fixtures. The draw got us these games for the quarter finals:
- Manchester United versus Charlton Athletic
- Newcastle United versus Leicester City
- Nottingham Forest versus Wolverhampton Wanderers
- Southampton versus Manchester City
Very tasty quarter final draw
:The draw itself isn’t the most exciting one. The match between Newcastle United and Leicester City is by far the most interesting match of this draw. The tastiness in this draw is all about the opportunity it leaves for the remainder of the tournament. The numbers two, three and five of the Premier League, can all go to the semis. A Manchester derby final is still on the cards. But a final with Newcastle United is also a very good option. That would be an huge performance. Newcastle managed to avoid relegation last season after they signed Eddie Howe as their manager. Now Eddie Howe got his team to third place and a Carabao Cup semi-final. How much more can they achieve this season? Book your Carabao Cup tickets and support your favourite team live at the stadium.
