We’re in the middle of another very exciting Premier League weekend We’ve picked three matches from the Saturday to discuss in this article. All other results are available on the Premier League website.

Chelsea versus Leicester City

This match was called the Fofana derby. A day before this match started, the French centre back got transferred from Leicester City to Chelsea. The defender moves to London for a record fee. Chelsea isn’t in the best possible form, so this was going to be very interesting to see. The only notable thing in the first half of this match was the red card for Connor Callagher. In the second half it was Raheem Sterling who guided his 9 teammates to a 2-0 lead. Harvey Barnes got one back for Leicester, but they couldn’t find an equaliser.

Manchester City versus Crystal Palace

Manchester City has been the team that creates loads of chances but couldn’t always find the back of the net. A good defensive record helped them winning loads of matches. They signed Erling Haaland to solve the goal scoring problem. With the Norwegian in the team it all of a sudden is the defensive line that looks weak. They conceded 2 goals early in the match against Crystal Palace. Early in the second half it was Bernardo Silva who got one back for man City. After this goal Erling Haaland showed why Man City bought him. With three goals he brought Manchester City the victory.

Arsenal versus Fulham

The final match on Saturday was the London derby between Arsenal and Fulham. Both teams had a good start in this season. Arsenal suffered some blows when Partey and Zinchenko weren’t ready to play in this match. With Tierney and Eleny back in the team they couldn’t break through Fulham’s defence in the first half. In the second half Mitrovic bullied Gabriel and opened the score for Fulham. Arsenal’s captain Martin Odegaard equaliser only a few minutes after conceding. Late in the game it was Gabriel who scored the winning goal. With this goal he made up for his mistake leading to the Fulham goal. Arsenal wins this game with 2-1 and is still the only Premier League team with only wins.
