Real Madrid meets Liverpool in Paris

Today was another Premier League versus La Liga semi-final in the Champions League. In this article we talk about the way Real Madrid managed to beat Manchester City.

Exciting battle in Etihad Stadium

The first leg in this tie was one for the history books. Manchester City took an early lead, got a two goals lead three times, but in the end Real Madrid managed to get it back to just one goal. The match in Manchester ended in a 4-3 victory for Manchester City, but it should have been a much bigger advantage.

In the second minute of extra time, Karim Benzema got fouled in the box and the referee gave a penalty. Just like in the first leg of this tie, Karim Benzema grabbed the ball and netted it from the spot. This was the final goal in this tie, which means Real Madrid will go to Paris to play Liverpool in the Champions League final.
