Manchester City started this match as the leaders of the Premier League table. Leeds United was just above the relegation zone. Five minutes later Jack Grealish doubled the lead. Leeds United tried to do anything, but Man City was clearly the dominant team in this match. Kevin de Bruyne pretty much sealed the deal by scoring the 3-0 in the 32nd minute. 3-0 was the lead for Man City at half-time.

With the busy Christmas period incoming, you expect teams with a big lead to take their foot of the pedal. Manchester City however kept going in the second half. Riyad Mahrez scored the fourth goal of the match after four minutes in the second half. Kevin de Bruyne, John Stones and Nathan Ake all scored a goal in the second half. With lifted the score to 7-0.
