Tottenham Hotspur wins third match in a row

This isn’t Tottenham Hotspur’s season so far. They already sacked Nuno and got Antonio as their new manager. Under their new manager they’ve won their last three Premier League matches. They’ve started this season with a 3-game winning run, won only two games in the following eight and now got back to a 3-game winning run. In this article we talk about their 3-0 victory over Norwich City.

Quick start by Tottenham Hotspur

The Spurs are still looking for their style under new manager Antonio Conte. He hasn’t got them playing like he wants them to play. Nevertheless, they started this match very quickly. Lucas Moura opened the score in the 10th minute of the game to give Spurs the lead. A big downer for Spurs was the loss of Sergio Reguillon. The Spanish wing back got injured halfway the first half and left the pitch. After this substitution Tottenham tried to push forward, but they failed to double the lead in the remainder of the first half.

Heung-Min Son delight

Davinson Sanchez was the player to bring relieve for the Spurs. He doubled the lead in the 67th minute. With a 2-0 lead and 20 minutes to go, Tottenham Hotspur had the points in the bag. The last couple of years, it was all about the combination Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane. The latter dropped form this season, but Son keeps performing. After his assist for the first goal, he was responsible for the third Tottenham goal. It was only the second time Spurs scored three goals in the Premier League this season. Now they will play Rennes for the Europa Conference League and Brighton and Hove Albion for the Premier League next weekend.
