Cristiano saves Man United, while Ziyech wins it for Chelsea

Tuesday was the start of gameweek 4 in the UEFA Champions League. Now all team played each other once in the group, this is the start of the second half of the group stage. All teams will play each other one more time. With this being the fourth match, the first teams had a chance to qualify for the next round. In this article we look back at the English teams that played on Tuesday. When Chelsea travelled to Sweden to face Malmo and Manchester United travelled to Italy to play Atalanta Bergamo.

Malmo FF versus Chelsea

Manchester United travelled all the way to Italy with the feeling they needed a better performance than in the home match. Cristiano Ronaldo was the one who scored a late winner in that game. This time the scenario didn’t change much from the home match. Ilisic opened the score for Atalanta early in the game. At the end of the first half CR7 equaliser. Atalanta never got distracted by this goal and just keep playing football. Which led to another lead when Zapata scored the 2-1. With this lead the kept on playing football, but who else than Cristiano Ronaldo decided this match. This time his late goal led to a sharing of the points.
