Thursday matches European football English teams

After the Champions League matches, it’s time for Europa Thursday. On this day the Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League. Three English teams will play another European football match. In this article we do some brief previews on the European matches of Leicester City, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Legia Warsaw versus Leicester City

After a draw against Napoli, Leicester City now plays Legia Warsaw in Poland. Legia Warsaw opened their Europa League season with a 1-0 victory over Spartak Moscow. If Leicester City has any ambition to get through to the next round, they need to get a result in this match. They can’t let Legia get to 6 points, while being on 1. So it’s going to be a must-win game for Leicester City in the Europa League..

West Ham United versus Rapid Vienna

West Ham United can take a big step towards the next round. After winning their first match against Dinamo Zagreb, they now face Rapid Vienna. The Austrian side lost their first match against KRC Genk. With another victory the Hammers go onto 6 points from two. If Genk can beat Dinamo Zagreb at the same time, the Hammers are 6 points clear. After this match they play Genk twice to sort out who tops the group.

Tottenham Hotspur versus NS Mura

It’s an understatement to say that Tottenham Hotspur isn’t in the form they had at the start of this season. After winning their first 3 Premier League matches, they lost their last three. In the UEFA Europa Conference League they drew their first match with Stade Rennais. This match against NS Mura is going to be an important one. Winning this match will give the team a confidence boost for the next weeks.
