2021-2022 Premier League gameweek 5 preview

After a week filled with European football, with 7 English teams competing. It’s time for a weekend filled with Premier League football. This weekend starts tonight with the battle between Newcastle United and Leeds United. Which can become a very interesting battle since both teams only scored 1 and 2 points so far. Will both get another point or is any of them going to take all three?

Saturday fixtures

Saturday is going to be a busy one with 6 Premier League fixtures. It starts with Wolverhampton Wanderers versus Brentford. At 3pm Burnley plays Arsenal, Liverpool plays Crystal Palace, Manchester City plays Southampton and Norwich City plays Watford. Four matches with 3 big six teams at the same time. The last match on Saturday is between Aston Villa and Everton. Everton is one of the current top 4 teams with 10 points from 4 matches, can they keep this going in the match against Aston Villa?

Sunday fixtures

Three matches will be played on Sunday. It starts with 2pm matches Brighton & Hove Albion versus Leicester City and West Ham United versus Manchester United. The big match of this weekend is the one between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea. The Spurs lost their first-place last weekend after losing against Crystal Palace. They are now one point behind their opponents Chelsea. The Blues from London have been very solid so far. Since the arrival of Romelu Lukaku, they are even harder to beat than last season. It’s going to be very interesting to see if Tottenham can find a way to beat them at home.
