Manchester United is making moves on transfer market

Manchester United finished second in the Premier League last season. A pretty good result for them, but the 12 points gap with Manchester City still hurts for the Mancunians. In Europe they got into the Europa League final, where they lost on penalties against Villarreal. They came close, but not close enough. These results give the club the confidence they can win trophies with the right additions to the squad.

Jadon Sancho done deal!

Manchester United hasn’t always been the quickest on the transfer market. The whole of last year’s summer transfer market the club was linked to Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, but he never came. Now, while we were writing this article, Manchester United officially announced the signing of Jadon Sancho on a 5-year deal.

The youngster left Manchester City in the summer of 2017. He missed the chance of first team minutes in Manchester and decided to develop himself in the Bundesliga. A move that never let him down. At Dortmund, Sancho played a few games in the second team, before becoming a regular in the first team. In 181 games for Dortmund, he scored 74 goals and assisted 75. So, he’s almost involved in 1 goal per match. There is no doubt in our mind that Jadon Sancho is going to do very well at Old Trafford.

Raphaël Varane

The French centre back won 4 Champions Leagues, 4 Fifa World Cup for club teams, 3 La Liga’s and one World Cup plus a few cups. After winning all these trophies at Real Madrid, he feels it’s time to find another challenge. His dream is to play in the Premier League and feel how strong this league is. Manchester United wants to sign him to partner up with Harry Maguire at the back. After signing Jadon Sancho, the odds are in Man United’s’ favour to also sign Varane. Which will be a massive boost for Ole Gunner Solskjaer. Man United can before a serious title challenger if they strengthen at the back. With Varane and Maguire in the centre and Shaw on the left back position it’s looking very strong. Aaron Wan Bissaka is the right-wing defender, but Atletico’s Kieran Trippier is also considered a candidate by Man United.
