Earlier this week we wrote an article giving away our first two favourites to win Euro2020. Today we give away the next two teams we consider as serious candidates to win the trophy. Portugal

There is no way we could leave the reigning European champions out of this list with favourites. The Portuguese team has a lot of quality players in their squad. Just think about the four forwards with Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva and Diogo Jota. These four players are capable of scoring against any opposition. The biggest problem for Portugal is their group with France and Germany, but with 4 out of 6 numbers three progressing to the next round there’s a fairly decent chance all three countries stay in the tournament. From that moment on they will avoid each other for some round, which gives Portugal a very good chance of doing something exciting in this tournament.

Spain

The Spanish national team is one that many people look past while summing up the favourites to win this tournament. Here at the Livefootballtickets.com HQ we still consider Spain as a serious candidate to win the Euro 2020! We might be a bit biased since our HQ is based in Madrid, but the Spanish team has a serious good squad. It’s a mix of young and old. One big shock is that they go without Real Madrid players. A fact that never happened before. But this can’t stop the Spanish side of doing something serious this summer. They go without a big star in the team. This time it’s really a team of players who want to work together for the big trophy.
