England's international matches

England play two Euro 2020 qualifiers this week and they will be looking to get one foot into qualifying for next summer’s tournament. England will be looking to continue their impressive qualifying run as they scored 5 goals in both their previous matches. Bulgaria on the other hand, who is England’s first match of these round of fixtures, have already played four matches with only two draws coming out of it. This will give a hungry young English team encouragement that they can get another big win.

England have a couple of very exciting players who could make their debuts. Mount and Maddison are both pushing for a starting role after impressing early in the Premier League season. Oxlade-Chamberlin will also be looking to play again after not having worn the England shirt since May 2018 right before he injured himself which kept him out all of last season.

There is an abundance of attacking talent in the England side now. Kane, Rashford, Sterling, Sancho are all looking to get in on a starting place. Sterling has started the season very well with City and is almost a guaranteed to start. As Kane is captain, he will lead the line. That leaves Sancho and Rashford to battle it out for the last spot in the front three. Sancho has started the Bundesliga season where he left off getting two goals and three assists in his first three matches. Rashford has not been at his best so far missing a crucial penalty for United a couple of weeks ago. So, Sancho will probably get the nod for this first match.

England’s second match will also be at home to Kosovo, who have started their qualifying campaign well, getting a win and two draws from their first three games. However, with England’s quality, they are expected to win all of the matches from their group and qualify top without any real problems.
