Man City lost their lost two matches for the International Champions Cup. One was against Borussia Dortmund last Saturday. Last night they lost against Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola still misses his most important players due to their World Cup obligations, so he isn’t too worried about losing against Liverpool. He played with a lot of youngster trying to see how they would do against one of the top teams in the Premier League. Man City did took the lead in this match when Leroy Sane scored the 1-0 in the 57th minute, but goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane brought Liverpool the victory. The Premier League starts a week after the Community Shield, giving the World Cup players 7 days extra to get in shape. It’s going to be very interesting to see how much Pep values the Community Shield. Is he going to play with a strong team, or will he start a lot of the youngsters that are playing for him right now?
