The old city of Nuremberg by River Pegnitz has been privy to much glory and turmoil. FC Nürnberg, established on May 4, 1900, has also undergone many ups and downs throughout its history. They are battling to stay in the top tier in Bundesliga since 2009 - '10. Yet, they have started their journey very differently in the first quarter of last century. The club has won nine league titles of which the last one happened in 1967 - '68. FC Nürnberg is also the winners of four DFB-Pokals with one being as recently as in 2007.
