Premier League prepares for Boxing Day 2022

It’s finally that time of the year, we’re on Christmas eve and preparing for another year of Christmas with restrictions. It’s the time of the year people were waiting for, so let’s make it a good one all together! Unfortunately loads of games are allready cancelled due to a Covid-19 outbreak in the Premier League. Liverpool versus Leeds United, Wolverhampton Wanderers versus Watford, burnley versus Everton are already postponed. Let’s hope it stays like this so we an at least enjoy some exciting Boxing Day football. In this article we discuss two matches we’re really forwards to on Boxing Day.

Manchester City versus Leicester City

This is going to be a very interesting battle. Manchester City is in top form, while Leicester City struggles to pick up loads points. Leicester City concedes pretty easy where scores easily. This looks the perfect recipe for Manchester City to get another three points on the board. However, it wouldn’t be the first time Leicester City manages to get something against Man City. It’s going to be very interesting to see if the Cityzens can hold of the Foxes. A win for Man City means another few days on top of the Premier League table.

Aston Villa versus Chelsea

This is probably the most interesting match on Boxing Day. Aston Villa picked up form since the entrance of Steven Gerrard, while Chelsea keeps dropping more points than they want. The Blues were on top of the table not long ago,but are six points behind Manchester City at the moment. Can they get some confidence back, or will Aston Villa keep the three points in Birmingham? We will know on Boxing Day! For now we wish everyone a merry Christmas and a wonderful 2022!!
