FA will allow fans in stadiums from next week

Since the start of the Covid-19 crisis, fans are banned from every football stadium in the UK. The country is currently in a lockdown, but this lockdown will end soon. When the lockdown had ended small group of football fans will be allowed back into the stadium.

The FA, the football association of England, will allow fans to enter the stadiums again from next week, according to several English media outlets. The national lockdown will come to an end on Wednesday 2 December and from then on, the supporters will be able to visit and support their favorite clubs again in limited numbers. This concerns a maximum of four thousand fans in the areas with the least risk. Areas at the second risk level will admit 2,000 supporters. Finally, there are also areas on the third risk level. No fans are allowed there yet. The news is not yet official, but Prime Minister Boris Johnson is reported to release the news Monday.
