Arsenal ready for Premier League start

The Gunners will officially start their new era on the 12th of August when they play at home against Manchester City. Arsenal looks ready for the start of the Premier League with a new manager. After Arsene Wenger resigned at the end of last season, it’s now time for Unai Emery to bring Arsenal back to the top 4 of the Premier League. In the match against his former team Paris Saint-Germain, Emery saw a very good performance by his team, winning the match with 5-1. It looks like Arsenal is ready for the start of the new season.

There looks to be a positive vibe around the club since the start of preseason. This has a lot to do with the fact that Wenger is replaced by Emery. Arsenal fans were fed up with Wenger and are now excited to see what a new manager can bring to the club. One thing he brought to the club are some very excited players with the like of Guendouzi and Torreira. Guendouzi is one of the revelations during their preseason tour, while Torreira impressed everyone in his World Cup performances for Uruguay.

A lot of Man City players join the team this week since they needed some rest after the World Cup. Arsenal however misses only a few players and went to Singapore with all their big guns. Players like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette showed signs of good form early in the preseason. The fact that they are working with a full squad in contrast to Man City and Chelsea, might help Arsenal in the first two fixtures of this season. They start at home against Manchester City, a match followed by an away match against Chelsea. Good results in these matches will give Emery and his team a kick-start for the rest of this season.
