Purchased a ticket for Fulham/Chelsea about a week and a half before the match in the Hammersmith End. Ticket came three days before the match, process was easy. I was skeptical but was only in London for a few days and wanted to see the match. You are obviously paying above face value but if you really want to see a match, it's worth it.

Very straightforward and easy. Tickets were easy to upload to apple wallet and we got in straight away with a simple scan, which was a huge relief. Had an email prior to match asking me to acknowledge receipt and I had one very prompt response to a quick question I had. Couldn’t fault the service. I will definitely use ‘live football tickets’ again. Thanks (ps - my daughter had a great experience at the match which also helped; making a young girl very happy, apart from the match result!)

Europa League final tickets | Besiktas Park

Book your Europa League final tickets 2026 and be there in Istanbul when Aston Villa face SC Freiburg for the most coveted prize in European club football outside of the Champions League. The final takes place on 20 May 2026 at Beşiktaş Park — a spectacular setting in the heart of one of the world's great football cities. Secure your seat now through our safe and reliable booking system.

For the winner, the glory goes beyond the trophy itself. Winning the Europa League also opens the door to the UEFA Champions League the following season — making the stakes in Istanbul even higher.

The 2026 Europa League Final: Aston Villa vs SC Freiburg

The 2026 Europa League final is set to be a truly compelling occasion — a clash between two clubs with very different stories, both arriving in Istanbul with plenty to play for.

Aston Villa are one of England's great historic clubs, European Cup winners in 1982, and now one of the Premier League's most exciting sides under manager Unai Emery. A man who knows the Europa League better than anyone, Emery is chasing a record fifth title in the competition — having won it four times with Sevilla. Should Villa lift the trophy in Istanbul, it would be the crowning achievement of a remarkable rebuilding project at Villa Park.

SC Freiburg represent one of football's most heartwarming stories. The modest Bundesliga club from the Black Forest region of southwest Germany have never before reached a major European final. Their run to Istanbul is the greatest achievement in the club's history, surpassing even their UEFA Cup last-16 appearance back in 1995/96. Coached by Julian Schuster, Freiburg have been outstanding throughout this campaign — eliminating Lazio, Celta Vigo and Braga on their way to the final — and they arrive in Istanbul as genuine contenders.

How They Got Here: The Semi-Finals

The stadium previously hosted the UEFA Super Cup in 2019 between Liverpool and Chelsea, and has a proven track record of staging major European occasions. Istanbul itself is a city with deep football culture and a long history of hosting landmark UEFA finals — making it an ideal destination for fans travelling from across the continent.

Who Are the Current Europa League Holders?

Tottenham Hotspur are the reigning Europa League champions, having claimed the title in 2025 — their third in the competition. The 2025 final was an all-English affair, with Spurs defeating Manchester United to lift the trophy. Neither Spurs nor Man United are in this year's final, leaving the door open for a new name to be engraved on the trophy in Istanbul.

Unai Emery: Chasing a Record Fifth Title

One of the defining storylines of the 2026 Europa League final is the presence of Unai Emery in the Aston Villa dugout. The Spanish manager already holds the all-time record for Europa League final victories, with four wins — all achieved during his extraordinary reign at Sevilla. He also holds the record for the most final appearances as a manager, with five.

A fifth title in Istanbul would be the greatest individual managerial achievement the competition has ever seen, and would cement his status as the undisputed king of the Europa League. For Villa supporters, it is the ultimate measure of how far their club has come under his leadership.

Europa League Final Records & Statistics

The Europa League has been running in its current format since the 2009/10 season, though its roots go back to the UEFA Cup era, which began in 1971-72. Over that time, the competition has produced some extraordinary moments, dominant clubs, and historic individual performances.

Most Successful Clubs

  • Sevilla hold the all-time record with 7 titles — and a perfect 7-from-7 record in finals. Their three consecutive titles between 2014 and 2016 remain the most dominant run in the competition's history.
  • Liverpool, Juventus, Inter Milan and Atlético Madrid each have 3 titles, placing them second on the all-time list.
  • 29 different clubs have won the competition in total across both the UEFA Cup and Europa League eras.

Top Scorers in Europa League History

  • Radamel Falcao produced the greatest single-season scoring record in the competition's history, netting 17 goals during the 2010/11 campaign. He also holds the record for the most hat-tricks in the competition.
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the all-time top scorer from the group stage onwards, with 34 goals.
  • Henrik Larsson holds the record when qualifying rounds are included, with 40 goals across his Europa League career.
  • Aritz Aduriz holds the record for most goals scored in a single Europa League match, with five.

Finals to Remember

  • 2024: Atalanta 3-0 Bayer Leverkusen — the biggest margin of victory in a modern final, sealed by an Ademola Lookman hat-trick.
  • 1998: The first single-leg final, played in Paris between Inter Milan and Lazio — ending the two-leg format that had been in place since 1972.
  • 1975: Jupp Heynckes scored a hat-trick in the first leg of the final for Mönchengladbach vs Twente, one of only two hat-tricks in final history.

Format Changes in 2024/25

The 2024/25 season introduced a new league phase format, replacing the traditional group stage. The competition now features 36 teams (up from 32), with the top eight advancing directly to the round of 16 and teams finishing 9th to 24th entering a knockout play-off round. Teams no longer drop down from the Champions League into the Europa League at the group stage.

Why Attend the Europa League Final in Istanbul?

A Europa League final is one of the great occasions on the European football calendar. The atmosphere, the occasion, and the quality of football on display make it a bucket-list experience for any serious football supporter. With Istanbul as the host city in 2026 — a place where East meets West and football passion runs deep — this promises to be a final to remember.

Tickets are limited and demand is high. Book your Europa League final tickets now to guarantee your place at Beşiktaş Park on 20 May 2026.
