Not only does the England Premier League have some of the finest football clubs in the world, they also have the top football grounds in the world for fans to enjoy the total experience of The Beautiful Game and energy of the exciting matches. England, Wales, Ireland, and Scotland have more than 200 football grounds including the outstanding Wembley Stadium, home ground to the England National Team. The following is a guide to the top five most popular Premier League grounds.

Old Trafford – Manchester United

Capacity: 76,100 seats

The 'Theatre Of Dreams' is without doubt one of the top grounds in the country. One of the finest grounds in all of Europe, the totally enclosed Old Trafford Stadium has steadily expanded over the last couple of decades raising its capacity to an amazing 76,100, making it the largest Premier League ground in Britain. Both ends are large two tiered steep stands with a large lower tier and smaller upper tier. The three tiered Sir Alex Ferguson Stand has the largest capacity stand of any League Ground in England with 25,500 seats. The older Main South Stand is single tiered, with a television screen suspended below the roof. All the stands have a row of executive boxes at the back of the lower tier. In April 2016 the Main South Stand was renamed the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand offering some the best views of the ground from the front of this stand and from the away section. Outside the ground is the Sir Matt Busby Statue and above the entrance to the Club Museum outside the North Stand is a statue of former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Across Sir Matt Busby Way is the United Trinity Statue of three of the 1968 European Cup winning team; George Best, Denis Law and Sir Bobby Charlton.

Away supporters are located in part of the East and Sir Bobby Charlton Stands providing great views and seating for 3,000. After being searched, fans enter stadium by placing their ticket into an electronic bar code reader. It is then up a few flights of steep stairs to the concourse that offers food and drink. At the far end of the concourse is a large flat screen TV.

Emirates Stadium – Arsenal

Capacity: 60,432 seats

The Gunners’ stunning four-tiered home ground, Emirates Stadium, enjoys a capacity of more than 60,000, and can claim to be the biggest stadium in London. As you approach Emirates Stadium, there are bronze statues of former manager Herbert Chapman and former players Tony Adams and Thierry Henry – someday there will be a statue of veteran Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

The lower tier is large and shallow, set back from the playing surface. A small second tier, which is called the Club tier has seating, but is only eight rows high and slightly overhangs the lower tier. The second tier known as “prawn circle” has several lounges and restaurants. The third tier with 150 executive boxes is the smallest, and fits entirely under the large fourth “upper” tier. The fourth tier is shaped in a semi-circle and topped by a stunning roof designed to allow optimum light to get to the pitch. Two major large video screens are located in the North West and South East corners. Away fans at the Emirates Stadium are housed in the lower tier of the South East corner with about 3,000 big, padded seats and lots of leg room.

Entrance to the impressive Emirates is by a 'smart ticket’ that you or a steward enters into a ticket reader to gain entry after being searched. Once inside Emirates there are great food choices on the concourse – some pricey. Away fans are located very close to the home fans. The Gunners mascot is 'Gunnersaurus, a bright green, fluffy dinosaur. On Gillespie Road near Arsenal Tube Station going towards the Emirates, try popular Piebury Corner.

The Etihad ground playing surface is the largest in the Premier League. Man City’s mascots are a pair of ETs called 'Moonchester' and 'Moonbeam'.

The two tiered; Centenary Stand on the opposite side was originally called the Kemlyn Road Stand which boasts a row of executive boxes and a capacity of 12,000 seats.
