Manchester City casually past Everton
Manchester City is one of the three title contenders in the Premier League this season. After seeing both their rivals winning on Saturday, it was a must win game for Manchester City. Chelsea extended the gap to the Mancunians to 6 points, so Manchester City wanted to decrease it again to 3 points. Everton is going through a tough period, where they haven’t won in the five Premier League matches before facing Man City.

As we all expected, it was from the start that Manchester City dominated this match. Halfway the first half they got a penalty, but it got denied when VAR interfered with this decision. He said Raheem Sterling didn’t got touched, so the referee decided to turn this decision around. Everton almost got the first half over the line, but it was Raheem Sterling who received a perfect pass from Joao Cancelo and scored the 1-0 for Man City just before half-time.

Everton missed a bunch of important players and struggled to get something against Manchester City. The man of the second half was Rodrigo. A deflected ball come on his way and he never doubted. He decided to shoot immediately, and the ball went with a lot of force against the back of the net. A great goal that’s belongs to the best goals we’ve seen this weekend. The 2-0 lead was enough for Manchester City to feel comfortable in this game. Everton didn’t have the fire power to score 2 back. In the end it was Bernardo Silva who extended their lead to 3-0, after picking up a loose ball in the box. Now Man City will prepare for an interesting battle with Paris Saint-Germain.
