Last weekend’s draw for the FA Cup semi final resulted in two exciting semi finals with 4 London teams; Aston Villa v Chelsea and financially troubled Portsmouth will face either Fulham or Tottenham Hotspur, both London teams.
First, Tottenham Hotspur will face Fulham again on the 24th of March at their home ground White Hart Lane, after they drew earlier at Craven Cottage. The winner of this replay match will face Portsmouth, the club who won the FA Cup just two years ago and beat Birmingham City at Fratton Park.
FA Cup title holders Chelsea will face Aston Villa, after winning 2-0 against Stoke City. This will be a tough match for Chelsea since they lost against Aston Villa earlier this season for the Premiership. Aston Villa lost the Carling Cup Final earlier this year at Wembley.
