The Stadium

An international world league will be formed, seeing countries around the world competing for the top spot each year. With advancements in travel channels, it will be easier for fans to travel internationally to attend matches which will allow the world league to thrive.

Measures will be made to make football stadiums more eco-friendly, with a key element being the introduction of solar-powered stadiums.

The pitch will be made from a high end eco-friendly artificial grass material, which will have less environmental impact and will also be less impacted by weather conditions.

Football stadiums of the future will all feature an adjustable roof which can be closed over in poor weather conditions to avoid matches being rained off.

Fold-down, plastic seating will be replaced with comfortable armchairs featuring charging units, with WiFi also available through the stadium. Seats will be fitted with TV monitors on the back of the chair meaning match attendees can also watch the game from different angles on the screen in front of them.

With veganism a growing choice, alongside an increased inclination to eat healthy and organic produce, football stadiums will adapt their fast food offering to include a wider range of vegan and healthy options.
