The Gunners should be in good spirits and top form after finishing in third place in the Barclay’s England Premier League for the 2014-15 campaign behind champs FC Chelsea, and second place Manchester City; winning the FA Cup; and qualifying to compete in the prestigious 2015 – 2016 Champions League tournament. Arsenal will face Premiership champs Chelsea on August 2 at Wembley in the upcoming Community Shield to kick off the 2015 – 2016 EPL campaign.

On Saturday July 25 Bundesliga team Wolfsburg will battle Villareal in the opening match of the eighth Emirates Cup; Arsenal and Lyon clash in the second game. Then on July 26 Lyon will face Villarreal at 2pm, before the Gunners bring the tournament to a close against Wolfsburg. The winner will be presented with the Emirates Cup trophy after the final match on Sunday.

Teams will be awarded three points for a win, one point for a draw, plus a point for every goal.
