Summer Transfer Rumours: Liverpool considering bid for Tevez

Liverpool are said to have selected Man City striker, Carlos Tevez, as their chosen replacement for their Uruguayan star, Luis Suarez. Reports have consistently linked Suarez with a move away from Anfield in the summer transfer window. The Reds are also tracking Udinese hit man Luis Muriel, should Suarez be successful in his reported bid to secure a move to Spanish cracks, Real Madrid. Liverpool are long time admirers of Tevez and have already had two moves to sign him on loan rebuffed by City. Now, however, the former Manchester United man could be available on a permanent deal for just £7 million, after costing Manchester City a whopping £25 million in 2009.Secure yourLiverpool FC tickets, including Steven Gerrard Testimonial tickets safely on Live Football Tickets .com

Tevez to go in City overhaul

Manchester City are planning a major summer overhaul and are prepared to take a huge hit on Tevez as they look to make space on their wage bill. Liverpool could face stiff competition for the Argentine's signature, however, with Italian giants, Juventus reported in Italy to have already agreed personal terms with the player. French sides, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are also said to be in the frame.
