Wednesday's international friendlies preview
Today brings us some exciting international friendlies across the football world as the bigs guns from South America and Europe limber up for next month's World Cup 2014 qualifiers. England take on 2014 hosts Brazil at Wembley on Wednesday night in a specially arranged match to celebrate the FA's 150th anniversary. Roy Hodgson will be without Daniel Sturridge, Jermain Defoe and Michael Carrick as he takes on the South American cracks but Theo Walcott is available and may be deployed in a central striking role. Ronaldinho could make an appearance for Brazil after his first call up in more than a year.
European and South American giants in mouthwatering clashes
Argentine also visit Europe to take on Sweden, throwing up the mouthwatering prospect of Zlatan Ibrahimovic facing Lionel Messi. Elsewhere, European and World champions, Spain, take on Uruguay but have several injury problems amongst their top stars. Midfielders Xavi and Xabi Alonso will miss the clash with a hamstring and groin injury respectively, while goalkeeper Casillas is out with a broken hand.
