Bradford City pulled a stunner against Aston Villa in their Capital One outing enjoyed at the Valley Parade, Bradford. It was the first leg of the semi final match that took place under the lights. Nahki Wells scored the first goal of the match to give The Bantams a lead of 1-0 by half time. Rory McArdle scored the second goal for the home side on 77th minute of the game. Andreas Weimann netted the ball at 82nd minute to pull down the goal advantage for the visitors. But by the end of the match the scoreline read as 3-1 for the home team. Aston Villa is one of the premier clubs of the country. On this day though, it was Bradford City, positioned eighth in League Two, who managed to steal the limelight much to the delight of the local football lovers.
