Harry Kane ready for move to Manchester City

Earlier this summer Harry Kane announced his desire to leave Manchester City this transfer window. He turns 28 next Wednesday and he wants to win some trophies before he retires. Harry Kane is a starter for Tottenham Hotspur since the 2014-2015 season. In all this years he lost one Champions League final, one EFL Cup final, two FA Cup semi-finals and one EFL Cup semi-final. At the same time he lost the title race in the 2015-2016 season against Leicester City. After all these failures, Kane believes he needs a move to another club to start winning trophies. Manchester City looks the best option for him to win trophies.

Manchester and Harry Kane a good match?

The question is if Kane and Manchester City are a good match? Is the Etihad Stadium the place for England’s captain to win trophies? We believe the answer to this question should be a definite YES. Manchester City has an amazing team, but they miss an out and out striker. Sergio Aguero left the club this summer, while Gabriel Jesus isn’t off the right level. Harry Kane is arguably the best striker in the English Premier League. He would give Man City a big boost. He might even be the missing piece for Pep in his attempt to win the Champions League. Adding Kane to the team would make them an unstoppable force. Kane himself already said in an interview that Kevin de Bruyne is the player he would love to play with. Imagine De Bruyne assisting Kane. That will immediately be the best attacking duo in the league.

No Community Shield

Even though this transfer looks very likely for Harry Kane. He won’t be playing in the Community Shield. Kane played in the Euro 2020 final and isn’t back in training yet. So even when he makes this move, he needs to train a few weeks before being ready for the new Premier League season. Pep wouldn’t risk him getting an injury in the Community Shield match at Wembley.
