Leicester City improves squad before Community Shield

The Transfer market is open and Leicester City looks to be very active. They haven’t announced any new players yet, but there are some new players upcoming. In this article we discuss a few of the players which are linked to Leicester City. We will discuss the two players that are currently most likely to join Leicester.

Patson Daka

Patson Daka is another striker found by the scouts of RB Salzburg. The Zambian striker played 125 matches for for the Austrian side and scored 68 goals. He was linked to a logical move to RB Leipzig, but Leicester City are frontrunners now for his signature. He should be the player to give Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Ihaenacho a run for their money. Several sources say it’s a matter of time before Leicester City announce Patson Daka and we believe it will be a good move for both player and club.

Boubakary Soumare

Soumare is a 22 year old midfielder of Lille in France. He was born in France, but is from Senegalese descent. He played an impressive role in the Ligue 1 title win by Lille. He’s not the goal scoring player, with only one goal in 112 matches for Lille. But as a defensive midfielder he’s definitely a player you can count on. Just like with Patson Daka, the rumours are that this deal is very close.

Playing in the Community Shield

If both deals come through, there is a very big chance both players will play in the Community Shield. Which will be the first big opportunity for Leicester City fans to watch their new stars live in action.
