Manchester United versus AS Roma

Manchester United played the first match at home against AS Roma. The Roma side that had some luck reaching the semi-finals. Against all odds AS Roma started quite well and led with 1-2 at half-time after Bruno Fernandes opened the score for Man United. With two away goals against them, Man United fans started to worry about their changes to But, everything changed in the second half. Edison Cavani showed why the club signed him in the summer with two goals to take back the lead in the match. Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba and Mason Greenwood also scored in the second half to extend the lead to 6-2. A score which will be enough for the Mancunians to go through to the Europa League final.

Villarreal versus Arsenal

Just like the Man United versus AS Roma match, this one was very exciting. It started early in the game when Villarreal took the lead. Just before the 30-minute mark they doubled their lead. When Dani Ceballos got a red card early in the second half, Arsenal looked done and dusted. Villarreal missed some opportunities to score their third goal, but they failed to do so. A penalty for Arsenal and a red card for Villarreal changed the whole game. Arsenal got their desired away goal and will feel confident to finish the tie at home. Villarreal will travel to London feeling confident as well, with their lead. Still everything to play for in this match.
