Premier League returns after international break

Premier League fans are getting more exciting each day this week. Especially after the World Cup qualifiers on Wednesday, they feel the Premier league is almost back after a two-weeks break. England won their game against Poland on Wednesday, so the Premier League fans will go happy into this weekend. They will cherish this moment, because their teams can ruin their weekend with a bad performance.

Great international break for England

The international break has done England very well. Gareth Southgate’s team managed to win all three of their World Cup qualification matches and top Group I at the moment. They are on 9 points, 2 more than Hungary and 3 more than Albania. Competitor Poland is already 5 points behind England.

Interesting games in the Premier League

This weekend is immediately an interesting one for the football fans. The weekend starts off with Chelsea at home against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. The second match is Leeds United versus Sheffield United, but later on the Saturday things are really getting interesting. At the end of the afternoon the numbers 3 and 1 face each other at the King Power Stadium where Leicester City welcomes Manchester City. The Cityzens took a big lead at top of the table, this will be one of the last opportunities for the remaining teams to get back into the title race. The foxes won the away match with 2-5, so Man City will be fearing this match.

After this match two Premier League giants close the day off. Arsenal plays at home against Liverpool in an attempt to close in on the Reds. Arsenal versus Liverpool is and will always be a big match in English football. Even though both teams aren’t in the top 4 at the moment. We hope next season is the moment we can start selling tickets for these matches again, to help all fans to watch their team live.
