The group stages of the Champions League are over now, and all 16 teams are confirmed for the knockout round. The teams to go through are PSG, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Tottenham, Manchester City, Atalanta, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, Napoli, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Lyon, Valencia, and Chelsea.

All four English teams qualified with Liverpool and Manchester City topping their group and Chelsea and Tottenham coming in second. These are the teams that they could face:

-Manchester City - Real Madrid, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Lyon

-Liverpool - Real Madrid, Atalanta, Atlético Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Lyon

-Tottenham - PSG, Juventus, Barcelona, RB Leipzig, Valencia

-Chelsea - PSG, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Barcelona, RB Leipzig

The draw for the round of 16 takes place on Monday at noon with the teams finding out their fate and who they will face. Even though Liverpool and Manchester City finished top of their groups they have several tough opponents that they could face with the two Madrid sides being the most difficult ones.

There were some big teams that were knocked out with the most notable being last year’s semi-finalists, Ajax. Inter were also sent to the Europa League on the last game week for the second time in a row. They just needed to match Dortmund’s score against a second-string Barcelona at home but lost the match with Dortmund winning. There was a big change in group C in the last game week with Atalanta beating Shakhtar to go from last place into second.

This Champions League group stage produced a record number of goals with 308 being scored in 96 matches across the three months. There is a two-month break now with the knockout rounds commencing on February 18th.
