Tottenham Man City Preview

Tottenham host Manchester City on Monday night which is the match of the weekend. Only two points sperate the two teams. Man City are first in the table and Tottenham are fifth which shows how tight the top of the table is. Last season Man City won both the games home and away. This season Spurs will be hoping to do better and get a victory. The game is very important for both teams. City need a win to continue to stay top of the table, where Spurs need to win to challenge for top four and perhaps even be a surprise title contender.

So far this season Man City have looked the same they did last season. The lost De Bruyne and did not miss him at all. He has already made his comeback and could be in line to start this match. Delph and Gundogan are both doubts for the match as they have minor injuries which might keep them out. Danilo is also a doubt for this match as he came back from international duty with a small knock.

Tottenham versus Manchester City is going to be a very interesting battle. Harry Kane has not hit his usual heights yet, however, in previous season it has taken him until November to start scoring on a regular basis. Jan Vertonghen will be missed in defense as he is sidelined until the end of the year. Janssen, has not played yet this season but is also out until the new year. Alli, Rose, and Wanayama all face late fitness tests to see if they will be able to feature in this match.
