Premiership news for Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs

England Premier League News for Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs

Going into MatchWeek 10, Manchester City is in first place with 21 points, closely followed by Arsenal and Manchester United both with 19 points apiece on the Barclays England Premier League Table. Tottenham Hotspur is in seventh place with 14 points; FC Liverpool is in tenth place with 13 points; and FC Chelsea is in twelfth place with 11 points.

Premier League leaders’ boss Manuel Pellegrini reportedly was unhappy that Man City superstar Captain Vincent Kompany recently played for Belgium in international competition. Although Kompany missed five Man City matches just prior to his appearance for Belgium due to a calf injury, the Man City captain chose to start for Belgium, his national team. Pelligrini subsequently decided not to use Kompany in City’s recent 5-1 win against Bournemouth, and only brought Kompany on in the 89th minute as a sub against Sevilla on Wednesday in the Champions League clash.

Manchester City’s new midfielder Kevin de Bruyne told reporters he doesn’t see any problems between his compatriot and his manager, Manuel Pellegrini yesterday at press conference.

De Bruyne scored the winner against Sevilla as he continues his superb quality since joining Man City in a £55m deal from Wolfsburg during the summer transfer window. The Belgian has scored five goals in seven games for City.

Kevin De Bruyne will surely feature in the not-to-be-missed Manchester Derby as Manchester United host their arch-rivals and noisy neighbours, Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday, October 25. If Man United wins the match, they will move back into first place on the EPL Table, that is if Arsenal loses to Everton on Saturday.

"It doesn't matter if I score or give an assist or do nothing. In the end, the most important thing is to get the three points and that's it," said de Bruyne. "It doesn't matter where I play. I have been thrown everywhere in my career. You can have one good game on the right, another on the left.
