Huddersfield Town Football Club is an English football club formed in 1908 and based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Huddersfield Town have played the majority of their history in the top two tiers of English football and they currently play in The Championship.
Nicknamed The Terriers, their mascot is Terry the Terrier. The club traditionally plays in a blue and white vertically striped shirt with white shorts. The club has developed a reputation as having a strong academy, and the present squad contains a number of academy products.
The side play its home games at the John Smith's Stadium, a ground shared with rugby league side Huddersfield Giants.
