Sport-Club Freiburg, commonly known as SC Freiburg, is a German association football club, based in the city of Freiburg im Breisgau, Baden-Württemberg. SC Freiburg currently plays in the Bundesliga, the top tier of German football. Volker Finke, who was the club's manager between 1991 and 2007, was the longest-serving manager in the history of professional football in Germany. SC Freiburg plays its home games at the Dreisamstadion, named after the Dreisam River which flows through Freiburg.
