FC Nuremberg (FC Nürnberg = FCN) is a football club from Nuremberg, Bavaria. Since their foundation, Nuremberg ambitiously achieved 6 German titles until 1963 as well as becoming national Champions during 1948. Their success allowed them to play in the Bundesliga amongst other 16 German teams. FCN had some financial issues during the 90’s which relegated them back to the 3rd division from the 2 league but recitified due to better management which led them to another promotion to compete in the top of the Bundesliga.
